The Dutch Jensen Society “Het Jensen Genootschap Holland” will be having its International Meeting during the weekend of 16-18 September 2016 in Van der Valk Hotel Hoorn in the scenic North-West of The Netherlands . This is to celebrate 35 years HJGH. So get your agenda’s out and save the date!
Many JOC members from throughout Europe have attended these events in the past and had a very warm welcome.
Location
The Van der Valk Hotel Hoorn is a new 4 star hotel just outside the tourist town of Hoorn. It has a private parking place of which one area will be reserved for the participants of the Jensen event.
Hoorn is 412 km (256 miles) / 4 hours from Calais and 114 km (71 miles) / 1 hour 20 minutes from the Hook of Holland
Programme
Details are in the process of being worked out.
Arrival Friday from 12:00. On the Friday afternoon there will be a ladies program, gentlemen are welcome too, diner in the evening followed by the bar or …., on Saturday the obligatory scenic drive, diner, evening program and on Sunday a scenic drive and program in the morning and lunch followed by goodbyes leaving ample time to get to the ferry in Rotterdam or Hoek van Holland. We will also visit some attraction on Saturday and/or Sunday.
Maps and route description will be provided but it is strongly advised to bring an up-to-date TomTom, Garmin or similar sat-nav if you want to deviate from the route or want to visit some special places.
Prices & reservations
The all-in price has not yet been finalised but will be very reasonable, as usual.
Included are: 2 night’s stay, 2 x breakfast, 1 x lunch, 2 x dinner, map and route description.
The number of available rooms is limited to about 60 but more rooms subject to availability, so if you are seriously interested make sure to book early!
