No big deal, but HC doesn't however stand for "High Compression" - H is for 1972 and C for Chrysler.
Correct Richie, it's the HP at the end that is the Kiddy :P

Could be "saucy" if that's the case then, but either way, from what I've heard of their expertise, Jim's Autos will get the motor delivering its best.

Congratulations on your purchase,

I can testify that big Jim Smith will do an outstanding job with the Mechanicals. He services my car every year and despite it being a 400 mile round trip I wouldn't send it anywhere else. Get ready to enjoy it when you get it back.

Regards

Thank you Barry and Stu, big Jim comes highly recommended :-)

Mark Harman in Beccles (now since retired) did a full rebuild of my engine back in October 1994 when it had 80,672 miles on the clock,
since that rebuild it's only been driven 2000 miles in the last 30 years (according to MOT's and the history file), so even though she does
drive and sound amazing, maybe a little love and TLC from someone like Jim will be worthwhile.

I have also found a local gearbox firm who can service the old Torqueflite gearbox, the old boy Bill (who has now passed everyday running
of the company to his son) and is happy to do it himself, as none of the younger guys - mostly trained on ZF boxes are not too familiar them !
