Does this say 3572? If so it has seen some changes since leaving the factory in Pistachio with black interior. Calver lists it as being in Netherlands in 2016 which might explain the grill badge

I believe Andy Brooks was involved in Marketing this one last summer.

Apart from the obvious updates....17" wheels, brake reservoir, steering wheel, Mk3 reg plate light etc., it seems to retain many of the features expected from this very early Mk2 such as the two vent dash, the early door locks, the glove box lid and the fully fluted front seats and even the correct rocker box covers (albeit RHS & LHS swapped over!). The apparent interior colour change remains a mystery (to me anyway).

Nice winged badge on the front grill. I don't recognise that. Any ideas?

I'm sure this was painted and "Re-Vamped" by Brook Anderson, (the Guy responsible for the "Viperceptor" creation), a good few Interceptors seem to pass through his hands and appear back on the market with fresh paint and a good tidy-up & I'm fairly certain this was one of his too. It does look like 3572 to me Peter although that "3" is hard to seeImage

I believe that the rocker covers are the correct way around - at least, that's exactly how mine were on my early mk2 that I sold 3 years ago.

Hi all

I believe this is Chassis No 123/3572
Ex Factory 12.11.1969
Original Registration No JAM 1 E
Was originally Pistachio with a Black Interior

Was on the JOC Forum 09.2011 and Sold
I then have Anton purchasing the car circa 03.2013 and exporting it to Holland
I believe that the car had Driver and Passenger Door Mirrors at this time but these seem to have disappeared by 2019
It had MEW 344 H on the car at this time
Purchased 03.2019 by a JOC Member in Berkshire

Regards

Jim Smith
JOC Mem No 1639
136/8791 RJF 17 Owned since Sept 1978
