JOC Day at Leicester Space Centre
The club committee has arranged an event at the National Space Centre in Leicester. Club members and others interested in Jensens are welcome to come along.
Dedicated JOC parking has been arranged in the overflow section of the National Space Centre carpark, look for signage as you enter the car park area along Exploration Drive.
Complimentary welcome drinks will be available from 10am until 10.45am in the Shuttle Suites.
Unfortunately due to unforeseen circumstances the planned presentation on 541 restorations will not be taking place.
- At 11am we have arranged for an approximately 30 minutes presentation on the subject of leather, leather care, restoration etc. following which the presenter will remain available for a time to discuss any questions with members.
- At 2pm, again in the Shuttle Suites we will hold a pub style prize quiz on Jensen and JOC related matters.
Complimentary teas will be served in the Shuttle Suites from 3.15pm until 4pm.
The Space Centre is open from 10am until 5pm, members may wish to visit the museum at extra cost. A number of reduced price (£10 instead of £15) entry tickets may be available from the General Secretary on the day.
