You are invited to an open day at Warwickshire County Record
Office on Sunday 4 September (10 am - 4 pm) to find out about the
Warwick Healey Motor Company Archive.
Visitors to the open day will be able to:
- Look at original documents and objects such as photos,
drawings, advertising and publicity material, and mechanics pit
passes for Le Mans
- View Healey cars parked outside the record office and talk to
the owners
- Watch vintage film of Austin Healeys in action
- See how the material has been worked on by the project
conservator
- Hear about the project so far and future plans
- Go behind the scenes to see how material is stored and looked
after
- Listen to recordings of interviews
- Find out about some of the other Healey company and family
interests such as boats and generating electricity from wind
power
So come along to find out about the project and perhaps meet some
old Healey company friends or car owners.
Entry is free but donations towards the project will be welcome.
There is a small car park at the record office for Healey cars and a
much larger free car park located in nearby Cape Road. No booking
is required, but advance notice of you bringing a Healey would be
helpful. Contact details below. Vehicles and contents left entirely at
owner's own risk.
