This is an International event organised by Het Jensen Genootschap Holland. It is the week before the Swiss Jensen event, a number of people are making a long week of it and travelling from the UK to do both evemts.

It is a 4-star Superior wellness hotel with excellent and safe parking, part of which will be reserved for us.

Friday September 28th, 2018
Arrival at the hotel from about 12:00.
Fixing up cars in the parking area and chat in the bar.
Interested parties may visit Wilhelmshafen or Oldenburg before or after arrival at the hotel. Both towns are about half an hours drive away.

After breakfast we will have a scenic tour in the area. Lunch at 13:00 en route.
Coming back to the hotel, there is time for socializing, freshening up, repairs etc.

Sunday September 30th, 2018
After breakfast and check out a small scenic tour more or less heading south-west is planned to a restaurant for our farewell lunch.
Around 15:00 it is time for goodbyes.
Some may continue on in the direction of Mühlhouse for the Swiss International weekend, others may continue their holidays in another fashion and some will be returning home. If you travel the route through Rotterdam-Hull, be aware that it is a bit tight as the ferry leaves Rotterdam at 21:00 and you have to be there about 1,5 hour in advance. Hoek van Holland-Harwich is easier as it will leave around 23:00.
The trip from the lunch restaurant on Sunday to Rotterdam/Hoek van Holland will probably be around 3,5 hours at a decent pace. To Calais/Duinkerken it may be around a 4,5 hours drive.
Maps and route description of the scenic drives will be provided as usual but it is strongly advised to bring an up-to-date TomTom, Garmin or similar sat-nav if you want to deviate from the route or want to visit some special places. You want to be in time for the lunches at 13:00 on Saturday and Sunday.
We may visit some POI on the Saturday or Sunday.
The price for the whole weekend will be €225 (ca. £195) per person based on double occupancy of the room, so per couple €450 (ca. £390).
Single occupancy is €285 (ca. £250).
This includes 2 nights stay, 2x breakfast, 2x lunch, 2x buffet diner with 2 drinks per person.
Admission fees for POI’s not included.
The booking of the Autumn weekend is through the HJGH only. If you want to stay some additional nights in the hotel before or after the weekend you may contact the hotel directly mentioning that you take part in the HJGH Autumn Weekend.
