The organisers are grateful to First Great Western and APCOA for the use of the large Didcot West (Foxhall Road) Car Park for what we hope will a great & varied transport rally. The 800 space car park area we have available will be hosting a wide variety of Transport related exhibits and sales outlets. Exhibits are expected to include:
A wide selection of buses, coaches and commercial vehicles
Various car exhibits
Miniature Railways, including rides
Miniature Traction engines
Stationary Engines
Sales related stands
Train operation at the Railway Centre
Signalling in Operation on the Branch Line
All the above are subject to confirmation, and updates will be provided as exhibits are confirmed.
The event is integral with Didcot Railway Centre where our usual railway related operations and exhibits will be available, plus some additional activities. The admission price for the Rally includes free access to Didcot Railway Centre.
In conjunction with the Thames Valley & Great Western Omnibus Trust we will have a number of Bus and Coach exhibits, some of which will be offering free rides to and from the exhibition from the front of Didcot Parkway station. Details for those interested in exhibiting a Commercial vehicle can also be found on their website.
