Vehicles, other than motorcycles and scooters must be 26 years or older – 1993 or before. This is to help retain the integrity of the show as a classic car event. As in all previous years, we will allow some special exotics to add colour and flavour to the event. There will be no age restriction for motorcycles and scooters.
We introduced Early Entry last year. It proved very popular and it helped reduce some of the traffic problems so we want to repeat it in 2018. It will allow you to get on to certain parts of the Common from 11am. This is a special concession and we are asking for an extra £5 donation for the privilege. It will be on a first come first served basis. See the application form for full details.We hope to allow spectators on to the Common earlier in the day as well.
We are also making some operational changes to help congestion by erecting barriers and fencing on the previous day that hopefully will help ease the traffic on the day. We have to thank Harpenden Town Council and the Police for their kind permission to carry out the work.
