2011 International Weekend
The 2011 JOC International Weekend was on June 17-19
at the Alexandra House Conference Centre, Marlborough, Wiltshire.

This year is the Club’s 40th Anniversary, so we have made some changes.
The International Weekend venue is one of the Principal Hayley Conference Centres with excellent ameniities for our event, set in 20 acres in the village of Wroughton. Extensive leisure facilities include an indoor pool, gymnasium, all weather tennis court and leisure sports bar with pool table.

Bed & Breakfast (double room) per night: £45pp £65pp (single room). Hotel may be fully booked.
Children under 12 sharing parents room £10 per child per night (B&B) – full adult rate for own room.
Activities planned:
| Friday 17th (social) |
| As a prelude to the weekend, we convene in the bar from 7pm onwards to reacquaint ourselves with friends old and new and later dine in the restaurant with lots of Jensen talk. |
| Saturday 18th |
| 10.00am: Club Annual General Meeting (Alexandra Suite). election of the Club Committee with an opportunity for members to express their views on the future running of the Club |
| 12.00 midday: A local scenic drive, approximately 54 miles** visiting local sites of historical and prehistoric interest. All returning in time to prepare for the Annual Dinner Dance held in the Alexandra Suite. |

7.00pm: Pre Dinner Drinks, & 7.30pm Dinner. |
| Sunday 19th |
| 10.30am: Fun driving challenges for all the family and technical sessions. |
| 12.00 – 1.30pm: BBQ Lunch in the Courtyard £15pp to be prebooked. Menu and booking instructions will be on the notice board and in the Courtyard. |
| 2.30pm: Resumption of driving challenges. |
| 3.30-4.00pm: Awards Ceremony |

** NOTES ON SATURDAY SCENIC DRIVE:
Please note that the first petrol station on the route is at 41 miles. The nearest petrol station is at the junction of the B4005 and A346 at Chiseldon – 3 miles from the hotel, from the hotel follow signs for (M4) and Chisledon. This petrol station is on the way to the hotel from junction 15 of the M4. From junction 15 turn onto the A436 towards Marlborough, turn right onto the B4005 towards Chisledon and Wroughton (the petrol station is just the other side of the junction, you can come out of the petrol station onto the B4005). From here follow the B4005 to Wroughton and then signs for the Hayley Conference Centre.
